Diamond's album

We found Diamond and a new little foal Monday morning after Easter. Diamond was colicking and had to go to the vet right away because of a huge gas pocket in her right side. Now Diamond and Tharon are doing great.
(Dan and Melissa Lesse took these photos of mom & baby for us.)

Diamond spent summer 2006 on a beautiful green pasture.  She spent the winter stuffing her face with hay and Nutrena feeds. Okay, when will IT HAPPEN? She's getting closer but no signs of imminent foaling yet. We've never had a foal before and can't wait to see what it looks like--assuming we still have her.  She is now even more friendly than she was when we got her.  She is also a very fast runner.  It's hilarious to watch her roll!

Me last spring, shortly after I came to Fresh Start. (Right). I'm a fantastic, flashy sorrel mare, 14.1 hh. Now it's March 2007 and I'm about to foal! I'm gentle, I trailer well and can probably be ridden.
